Dr. Scott is a founder and managing partner at Revelation Partners.  He is also a managing partner at Leerink Revelation Healthcare Funds I & II and a partner in SC Everest and SC Granite – all of which are funds dedicated to secondary investing in healthcare. Collectively, those fund represent over $640 million in capital under management


Prior to cofounding Leerink Revelation Partners, Dr. Scott was a director at Saints Capital for six years, where he focused on secondary opportunities across healthcare sectors including medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare services and biopharmaceuticals. Before joining Saints Capital in 2008, Dr. Scott worked at Burrill & Company, where he made healthcare investments for nearly four years. Prior to Burrill & Company, Dr. Scott was a general surgery resident at Oregon Health Science University in Portland, Oregon.  


Dr. Scott has been an investor in many successful health care investments including Coherex Medical (acquired by JNJ), Enata Pharmaceuticals (public), Radius Health (public), iRhythm (public), Concentric Medical (acquired by Stryker), Pulsar Vascular (acquired by JNJ), Torax Medical (acquired by JNJ), Spiration (acquired by Olympus), and Evalve (acquired by Abbott Medical).


Dr. Scott is currently on the board of directors at Cianna Medical.


Dr. Scott received an MBA and a specialized certificate in Health Sector Management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University where he was Fuqua Scholar, an MD from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and a BA in Economics from Duke University.  Dr. Scott is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
